FIFA has issued a 12-month suspension to seven Malaysia players involved in the nationality forgery case:

🔻Hector Alejandro Hevel Serrano (Johor Darul Ta’zim 🇲🇾)

⚖️ The Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) was also fined USD 438,000.

This heavy sanction hits Johor Darul Ta’zim the hardest with three players suspended.

👉 Moreover, AFC is set to annul Malaysia’s 2027 AFC Asian Cup Qualifier result vs Vietnam, which could officially be awarded as a 3-0 win for Vietnam.
