2024 - We Grew.

Some of the growth is obvious. (Hello, Eli!) Right before our eyes - stretched taller, longer, higher! It’s impressive.

But much of the growth is imperceptible. Under the skin. Some changes came with surprise and uncomfortable growing pains. Some we worked for with daily habits, not sure in the moment if growth was taking place.

Regardless - I’m thankful for the progress made. It’s one of life’s key purposes . . . Growing bodies, minds, hearts and spirits . . . With growing closer to Him being the ultimate goal (every year!).

Happy New Year! Here’s to more growth in 2025!

One said they hoped for a true Oregon experience.
I knew we’d get it.
The rain fell ... and kept falling ....
through the old growth forest, across the rocks, and up the steep incline.
But at the top, not a drop.
We had ascended higher than the storm.
At the summit, a white, fluffy canvas enveloped us.
It felt like purity + possibility.
That’s what comes from going through the storm.
That’s what comes from taking the higher, holier way.

In the rock quarry, where voices carry far, missionaries practiced shouting their clarion call:
“Would you like to hear a message about Jesus Christ?”
The message keeps ringing.
It’s a message that gets us through the storm, helps us ascend higher and blankets us in purity + possibility.

She officially entered the next stage of this grand “Choose Your Own Adventure”! Boy oh boy, time from birth to college sure went fast! We dropped her off at and rest assured that she’s with friends who love her, and she’s attending a dedicated school that’s focused on uplifting, education and empowering this rising generation.
