Surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, Monterosso is also renowned for its lemons, a key ingredient in many local specialities such as marinated anchovies, limoncino, lemon cream, marmalade, granita, ice cream and even cakes.
The Festival is held every year on the third Saturday of May.
