I was testing a new workflow to create original MetaHuman characters: a voice-over generated with ElevenLabs, synced through audio-driven facial animation, and applied to a custom model built from scratch.

At the same time, I had this monologue — originally written for the villain of another short film — and it felt like the perfect way to put the character to the test.

Then I started playing with the lighting.
Then with the camera.
Then I brought in some images I had created during another experiment, inspired by WWII reportage footage.

And at some point, it stopped being a test.
It became a piece.
A small narrative fragment where the voice, the digital face, and the atmosphere aligned.

A reflection on evil, on justice, on fear — the force that has driven us for centuries.
A moment born from experimentation, but with a heart that had already been written somewhere else.
