Shab-e Yalda, also known as "Shab-e Cheleh," is one of the most important and beautiful celebrations in Iran, held on the longest night of the year, which is the night of the first day of Dey (December 21st). Watermelon is used as a symbol of warmth, while pomegranate represents abundance and life. Additionally, reading the poems of Hafez and taking omens from his divan is one of the common traditions of this night.

شب یلدا، که به عنوان "شب چله" نیز شناخته می‌شود، یکی از مهم‌ترین و زیباترین جشن‌های ایرانی است که در طولانی‌ترین شب سال، یعنی شب اول دی‌ماه، برگزار می‌شود. این شب نمادی از پیروزی نور بر تاریکی و آغاز فصل زمستان است.

در این شب، خانواده‌ها و دوستان دور هم جمع می‌شوند و با میوه‌ها و تنقلات مختلف از جمله هندوانه، انار، آجیل و شیرینی‌ها پذیرایی می‌کنند. هندوانه به عنوان نمادی از گرما و انار به عنوان نمادی از فراوانی و زندگی در این شب مورد استفاده قرار می‌گیرد. همچنین، خواندن اشعار حافظ و فال گرفتن از دیوان او یکی از سنت‌های رایج در این شب است.
