According to published statistics from the Iran Steel Association, Iran's total production of steel products grew by 5% compared to the same period in 2021.
Semi-finished steel production was 2 million 891 thousand tons, which shows a growth of 3%.
Slab production has increased by 8% and was 1 million and 223 thousand tons.
Rebar production with an increase of 2% was 776 thousand tons.
Eventually, according to the reports, the producers of sponge iron(DRI) in April 2022 produced 3 million and 242 thousand tons of this product, which shows a growth of 3% compared to the same month last year.
