🌟 Introducing UNIMA PC: UNIMA Puppetry Collaboratorium: Bridging Borders Through Puppetry Art 🌟
We are thrilled to introduce UNIMA PC, which stands for UNIMA Puppetry Collaboratorium! UNIMA, the world's oldest theatre organization founded in 1929 and affiliated with UNESCO, has embarked on an exciting new initiative to transcend borders and foster fresh collaborations through the magical world of
puppetry. Dimitri Jageneau, UNIMA's International General Secretary, and with the support of the UNIMA International board, along with the distinguished patronage of Mr. Nick Newland, President of UNESCO's NGO Liaison Committee, for the project 'Relation - Ships' in Mostar, UNIMA PC strives to become a global hub for UNIMA Centres. It aspires to provide a platform for members to directly engage in promoting the noble values that define humanity, fostering unique and collaborative gatherings for all UNIMA members. This collaborative platform transcends borders, cultures, and languages, harnessing the universal language of puppetry to unite cultures, inspire creativity, and foster peace across all corners of Africa, Europe, Australia, Asia, South and North America. UNIMA PC's primary goal is to connect with UNIMA centers worldwide and Puppet Festivals to further UNIMA's mission of promoting peace and mutual understanding in today's modern context. Through the universal language of puppetry, we aim to unite the global puppetry community in celebrating art, culture, and noble human values, all while striving for peace and goodwill. Join us on this exciting voyage as we weave a world where art knows no boundaries, creating a more peaceful and harmonious global community. Stay tuned for updates, captivating collaborations, and a myriad of puppetry experiences as UNIMA PC takes its first steps toward a brighter, more connected future.
