The Migrant Resource Center (MRC) held an awareness session at SPARK’s Chamchamal Youth Hub. The session focused on the risks of irregular migration, highlighted legal migration pathways, and offered practical training on CV writing and interview skills to better prepare local youth for the labor market.

SPARK encourages initiatives like this as part of its broader mission to empower youth, an approach that has been strongly reflected in the Networks of Change II (NOC2) campaigns. Through sessions like these, young people gain valuable insights into safe migration practices and employability skills, helping them make informed decisions about their careers and futures, while fostering the confidence to pursue opportunities safely and legally.

We were delighted to deliver a Communications Training for our local partners in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, as part of SPARK’s ongoing localisation strategy.

Throughout the training, participants strengthened their skills in developing communication strategies, writing for diverse audiences, social media management, photography and videography, as well as ethical communication practices. They also explored effective approaches to dealing with the press and public relations, and learned how to craft compelling stories that reflect their work and impact.

This activity is part of the Networks of Change II (NoC2) programme, implemented by SPARK and funded by the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

دڵخۆش بووین بە پێشکەشکردنی ڕاهێنانێک دەربارەی بەڕێوەبردنی پەیوەندیەکان لە کاری ڕێکخراوەیی بۆ هاوبەشە خۆجێییەکانمان لە هەرێمی کوردستانی عێراق، وەک بەشێک لە ستراتیژی بەخۆجێیکردنی بەردەوامی سپاڕک.

ئامانجی ڕاهێنانەکە بەهێزکردنی لێهاتوویی هاوبەشەکان بوو لە پەرەپێدانی ستراتیژیەتی پەیوەندیکردن و نووسین بۆ جەماوەری جیاواز و بەڕێوەبردنی سۆشیال میدیا و وێنەگرتن و ڤیدیۆگرتن. باس لە شێوازە کاریگەرەکان کرا بۆ دۆزییەوە بۆ مامەڵەکردن لەگەڵ میدیا و پەیوەندییە گشتییەکان و بەشداربوان فێربوون چۆن چیرۆکی سەرنجڕاکێش بنوسن کە ڕەنگدانەوەی کار و چالاکییەکانیان بێت.

ئەم چالاکییە بەشێکە لە پرۆگرامی تۆڕی گۆڕانکاری دوو، کە لەلایەن سپاڕکەوە جێبەجێ دەکرێت و لەلایەن وەزارەتی کاروباری دەرەوەی هۆڵەندا پاڵپشتی دارایی دەکرێت.
