Wedo collaborated with Terre des Hommes (TdH) to localise and contextualise the Blue Schools Toolkit for the Iraqi context. Through research, stakeholder engagement, and rapid school assessments, the toolkit was adapted to reflect local school realities—supporting practical, child-centered approaches to WASH and environmental awareness 🌱 that can be integrated into everyday school routines.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁:
✔️ Localising and contextualising the Blue Schools Toolkit to align climate-resilient environmental education with school WASH conditions.
✔️ Engaging technical teams, Ministry of Education (MoE) / Directorate of Education (DoE) representatives, and school leadership to ensure alignment between policy and classroom practice.
✔️ Conducting rapid school assessments reviewing WASH facilities, learning environments, infrastructure, and inclusion considerations. 🏫
✔️ Facilitating validation sessions and developing a practical implementation plan for schools.

Through this process, the adapted toolkit will be implemented in schools, contributing to improved WASH conditions, increased environmental awareness, and better learning environments for students.

يتخرج الكثير من الشباب وهم يحملون أفكار وطموحات، لكن الطريق نحو الدعم المناسب ليس دائمًا واضحًا، وغالبًا ما تواجه الجامعات تحديًا في ربط الطلبة والخريجين بالخدمات والفرص التي تساعدهم على تطوير أفكارهم.

In , digital financial behaviour is shaped by more than technology — it is influenced by perception, trust, and real market dynamics.

Wedo supported talabat in deepening its understanding of how Iraqi consumers, vendors, and fintech stakeholders perceive digital financial products, focusing on and as two of the most commercially active markets.

The study engaged more than 45 entities and individuals across key stakeholder groups, including users who shared their experiences with digital financial products, vendors and merchants such as food and grocery partners as well as non-online Talabat partners, and fintech experts who provided insights into the digital payments ecosystem.

We delivered a 360° product perception blueprint, grounded in behavioural financial insights and reflecting the real experiences of consumers and vendors on the ground.

Food doesn’t move from farms to markets on its own—it passes through complex value chains that shape prices, access, and opportunities for small businesses.

In collaboration with the World Food Programme (WFP), Wedo conducted a food value chain assessment in Baghdad to better understand how selected food value chains function and where key challenges and opportunities exist.

Participants from government institutions and civil society organizations across eight governorates came together 🤝, each bringing different experiences and challenges. The workshop focused on freedom of expression, peaceful assembly, and association, while discussing relevant legal frameworks.

Through interactive exercises and real-life case discussions 🗣, they shared challenges from their own work, learned from each other, and explored practical ways to protect these freedoms.

In collaboration with Search for Common Ground, the workshop strengthened trust and communication while highlighting how cooperation among institutions can make protecting fundamental freedoms a shared effort.
