During the tenure of the Hon’ble Pramod Boro-led BTR Government, all District Commissioners of the region functioned under the guidance of the BTC authorities, ensuring coordinated implementation of development works in their respective districts.
The Principal Secretary was also empowered to prepare an annual performance assessment of the District Commissioners for submission to the Personnel Department, Government of Assam. However, following Hagrama Mohilary’s swearing-in as Chief of BTC, the District Commissioners of BTR have been placed under the direct supervision of Dispur. This shift not only undermines the Hagrama administration’s ability to execute developmental initiatives but also constitutes a clear violation of the BTR Accord.
After implementing CAA in letter and spirit, now that same shameless leader is fooling people with his new promise: Detect, Detained and Deport.
