Q Guru Roop Ltd company issued 2000 E/S of Rs 10 each at a premium or Rs 2 per share payable Rs 2 on application Rs 5 on allotment ( including premium ) Rs 3 on first call and Rs 2 on second call . application was received for 3000 share and pro rata allotment was made for 2400 share and remaining application money refunded.R to whom 100 share were allotted failed to pay the allotment and first call money his share were forfeited . M to whom allotted 60 share failed to pay the two calls and his share were forfeited after the second call has been made . of these forfeited share 140 share were sold to K as fully paid up for Rs 9 per share . the whole share of R share being included pass journal entries in the books of company.
