# # Celebrating World Hearing Day with a Hatrick of Races!
It's World Hearing Day, and what better way to celebrate than conquering my 10k race - the final leg of my 3-month running challenge! This journey from couch potato to 10k finisher is all about celebrating the power of taking care of ourselves.
Here's the connection: good hearing allows for good attention, which leads to better interaction with the world around us. Strong social connections are key to combating isolation and fostering independence!
So today, let's celebrate the power of 3: 3 races, 3 months, and the 3rd of March - World Hearing Day!
