Too much screen time can affect more than just eyesight.

Children with excessive screen exposure may experience speech delays, shorter attention span, disturbed sleep, reduced social interaction, and delayed motor development.

Since kids learn best through real-world play and interaction, constant fast-paced stimulation from screens can impact how they process and respond to the world around them.

Small changes in daily habits can make a big difference in your child’s development 💙

Nothing speaks louder than the experiences of parents who see positive changes in their child’s communication, behaviour, and confidence.

These journeys remind us that with the right support and early intervention, children can achieve milestones that once felt difficult.

Thank you to all the parents who trust us and allow us to be a part of their child’s growth journey.

Most parents know 5 senses — but children actually rely on 8 senses for regulation, behavior and learning. 💙

When hidden senses like proprioception, vestibular and interoception are dysregulated, it may show up as crashing, spinning, fidgeting, meltdowns or difficulty sensing hunger, emotions or toilet needs.

These may not be “behavior problems,” but sensory signals.

Our senior occupational therapist explains what parents should watch for and when to seek support.

Save this for later and share with a parent who needs this.

Not every child beams when praised.

Some look away.
Some change the subject.
Some even seem uncomfortable.

That doesn’t mean they didn’t appreciate it.
It means we need to meet them where they are.

For neurodivergent kids especially, praise needs to feel real, not forced. Swap vague words like “Good job!” with specific, calm appreciation for their effort and choices.

💡 Tell them what you noticed.
💡 Tell them why it mattered.
They may not always react how you expect — but trust me, it lands.
