Christ University is a deemed private university. It has continued to make its name amongst the top colleges. Times Higher Education has ranked it amongst the top 1000 colleges having an impact on the world.

The University is specifically known for its undergraduate courses and has ranked among the top ten for UG courses in surveys done by the India Today group. The university offers 46 undergraduate programmes in humanities, social sciences, science, commerce and management, education, law and engineering.
