Elderly gentleman came with complaint of nonhealing ulcer in foot and lower leg pain despite on maximum antiplatelet/painkillers. Patient is having uncontrollled diabetes too.

Angiography was suggestive of complete long segment occlusion of SFA. HOW WE TREAT THIS DISEASE? IS BYPASS REQUIRED ??????

We revascularise almost 99 percent cases endovascularly without doing open surgery. This patient got complete revascularisation with endovascular angioplasty and stenting where no major cut on body, no anesthesia during procedure and discharged on next day.

Ulcer is completely resolved and amputation avoided.
