RAJOURI POLICE DISTRIBUTES BOOKS FOR LIBRARY UNDER CIVIC ACTION PROGRAMME.
J&K Police Rajouri under the Civic Action Programme today distributed books for a Library in High School Mangota, Thanamandi. The function was attended by Teaching Staff, School Children, Sarpanches/Panches and villagers of adjoining areas. Speaking on the occasion, DIG Rajouri-Poonch Range, Sh. Danesh Rana emphasized on the need of providing education to the children who alone can ensure development of an area. Sh. Mubassir Latifi, SP Rajouri while speaking on the occasion said that it is the endeavour of J&K Police to make society literate and aware about their legal rights. Sarpanches /Panches also spoke on this occasion. While appreciating the endeavour of Rajouri Police, they highlighted their demands viz: construction of boundary wall of High School, deficiency of teaching staff, Laboratory facility etc. besides requested for organizing such programmes in future also for the over all development of their children.
Panthers Party Legislators call on Governor

The delegation of National Panthers Party Legislators informed the Governor about several issues relating to road connectivity, development of tourists spots, long delays in the releases of allocations by the State Planning Department, neglect of “Bad Pocket” areas, non-implementation of “Prime Minister’s Special Task Force” recommendations and varied other impediments in the way of rapid economic growth of the State. They also briefed the Governor about the to date status of various Central and State sponsored developmental schemes in their respective constituencies.
