The Court on granted one week’s bail to of Parliament Abdul Rashid Sheikh to enable him to meet his ailing father, who is currently hospitalised.

Sheikh had moved ,the High Court seeking temporary relief after his plea for interim bail was earlier rejected by the trial court. The High Court allowed the request, taking note of the medical condition of his father.
The court directed that the interim bail would be subject to Sheikh furnishing a bail bond of Rs. 1 lakh along with one surety in the like amount.
Mr. in of S.O . Bashir Ahmad Khan, Section Officer at the CEO Office Kupwara, has attained superannuation today. The retirement function will be held at Khan Manzil, Batgund.
