Huda Beauty Rose Quartz Eyeshadow Palette (4500) includes eight matte eyeshadows and 10 shimmery eyeshadows. I appreciate that the brand does different textures and formulas throughout their palettes, but it does make for a bit of a learning curve when working with their products and ratings can be all over the place as performance is not consistent from shade to shade.

The matte eyeshadows were a little thin and more often lightly to moderately powdery, so they performed best over an eyeshadow primer. The shimmers tended to be on the thicker side, so they did not always layer as evenly with the thinner mattes; a few shimmers had to be applied with a fingertip or thinned.
