🌩️ Sudden Hailstorm Hits Rajnagar, Sparks Crop Damage Concerns 21 November: Unseasonal hailstorms accompanied by heavy rain lashed Rajnagar on Thursday evening, raising fears of significant damage to rabi crops. Though brief and featuring smaller hailstones, the storm caused widespread panic among residents. This comes on the heels of another rain spell on Wednesday night in South Dholai's Jamalpur and Sheoratala areas. Farmers in the region are particularly worried, given the devastation caused earlier this year on 30 May. That storm, marked by hailstones weighing over a kilogram, left livestock dead, houses and vehicles damaged, and several injured in Jamalpur, Channighat, and Sheoratalal. While Thursday's hailstorm lasted only a few minutes, memories of the May disaster still haunt the locals.
