Today, our interns stepped into a familiar place, their own universities, but with a powerful purpose. At William Carey University and Martin Luther Christian University, they stood before their classmates to share a message that cannot be ignored: Child Abuse is Real. Don’t deny it. Act now.

They brought this message to life through a skit. In that performance, they showed how child sexual abuse can come from people we know. It was uncomfortable, honest, and necessary. Their classmates weren’t just watching a play; they were confronting a reality that often goes unspoken.

And the very students who watched walked away ready to carry this message forward.

This moment is part of our Child Safety Week campaign for everyone to speak up on the issue instead of staying silent.

Police Bazar paused today. Our team created a display of children’s clothes marked with red handprints, each one representing a childhood lost to sexual abuse.

People stopped in their tracks. They looked closer. They asked questions. The quiet shock on their faces showed how real this issue is and how close it sits to every community.
