This International Women’s Day, we celebrate the women who form nearly half of our team and the heart of our work.
Most of them are local women and ASHA workers who carry the strength, care, and resilience of their communities into their work every day. Their dedication goes beyond roles and responsibilities, it is rooted in compassion, trust, and a deep commitment to the wellbeing of others.
By investing in women, we strengthen families, communities, and pathways to lasting social change.

On 9 Feb 2026, we hosted Mr. Pulak Chandan Prasad, Founder of Nalanda Charitable Foundation, for a meaningful engagement with IIH. He met persons with TB to understand their health and wellbeing and engaged in thoughtful discussions on strengthening community health efforts.
He also launched IIH’s Compendium featuring 41 powerful stories of people working on the ground.
A day marked by dialogue, reflection, and a shared commitment to community-led change.
