It gives us immense pleasure to share that Gyan Setu Reference Library is now the first "Girl-Students-Only Air Conditioned" Library in Saharanpur.

We are thankful to our Contributors; and National Enterprises on Court Road for co-sponsoring the Air Conditioning effort.

Registration is now open. As we mentioned above, Gyan Setu is for Girl Students only. There is a small facility maintenance fee to keep the Reference Library up and running .... ₹ 100 per month.

Q: Who can register as a member?
A: Membership is open to all Girl Students from Saharanpur, preparing for any competitive exam.

Q: Is there a registration fee?
A: No. Registration is needed to avail library facilities, but there is no registration fee.

Q: Is there a monthly membership fee?
A: No

Q: How to register?
A: It is a pretty simple process. Visit the Library with a Photo Id (Govt or College or School Id), and fill a one-page membership form. Please note that we now have only 07 seats available, so we can accept only 07 new members.

Q: Why have you put a limit on number of Library members?
A: We would like to ensure that each member has ample space to study in a peaceful environment.

Q: What is a Reference Library?
A: Reference Library is different than a Regular Library. Reference Library has facilities like reading rooms, a pantry, restrooms, and a well equipped reference books section. Reference Library does not have circulating books section, therefore it does not issue any books for home.

Q: If library does not have those books that I need, what happens in that case?
A: A registered member can put in a request for the book. We will procure that book as soon as we can.

Q: How should I maintain my membership?
A: We look forward to the maximum utilization of resources and facilities, therefore we track students attendance and expect them to be a regular Library visitor. Else, your membership shall be offered to wait-listed student, next in the queue.
