In our quest for maximum energy efficiency, our Shell Eco-Marathon vehicle has been upgraded with a 𝐠𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐟𝐢𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞.

💪 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡-𝐭𝐨-𝐖𝐞𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐑𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨: Glass fiber offers incredible durability while significantly trimming the vehicle's weight. This perfect blend not only enhances performance but also improves energy efficiency, which is vital for achieving the highest mileage in the competition.

This lightweight advancement isn't just a design decision; it’s a thoughtful move toward transforming sustainable mobility. By saving every gram possible, we’re getting closer to our ultimate goal of maximizing both range and efficiency.

🌟 Project Update – Behind the Scenes!

We’re currently developing a Prototype Electric Vehicle and are excited to share our progress on the vehicle's superstructure. Here’s how we are bringing everything together step by step:

First off, we crafted a mold using high-density EPS thermocol. This material is both lightweight and durable, making it ideal for achieving precise shapes.

Next, we covered the mold in aluminum tape. This protective layer ensures that the thermocol maintains its shape while we apply the resin for the glass fiber. This step is crucial because if the resin penetrates the thermocol, it can chemically react with it.

We are excited to see how this process unfolds as we continue to develop our project! Stay tuned for more updates as we move forward. 🚀
