YSM is a religious foundation drawing inspiration from the life and teachings of Sri Sri Paramhansa Yogananda. Bathed in the holy and spiritual aura of the Yogoda Satsanga Society of India founded by Sri Sri Paramahansa Yogananda , YSM was established in August 1967 at Chutia, Ranchi in the Ashram Campus. The College began with just 1000 students and 19 teachers and was housed in a small building
