Delhi Public School Ranchi continued its memorable educational excursion trip to the scenic hills of Nainital with great enthusiasm and excitement on Day 05 of the camp. The students actively participated in various adventure, learning, and sightseeing activities that made the day both enriching and enjoyable.
On 20th May 2026, the students started their morning with Tent Cleaning and Campus Training sessions for around thirty minutes. After breakfast, the students enthusiastically participated in several adventure activities including the Burma Bridge, Double Rope Bridge, and the thrilling Mowgli Walk Breeze. Under the supervision of trained instructors, the campers enjoyed these activities which helped them strengthen their confidence, physical coordination, balance, and leadership qualities while overcoming exciting challenges.
Following an early lunch at the camp, the students proceeded for a delightful visit to the beautiful Nainital town. They explored the vibrant Tibetan Market and enjoyed leisure time at the famous Mall Road, experiencing the local culture and scenic beauty of the hill station.
Principal Dr. Jaya Chauhan expressed her delight over the successful continuation of the excursion and said, “Educational tours and adventure camps provide students with a perfect blend of learning, discipline, cultural exposure, and recreation. Such experiences help students become more confident, independent, and socially responsible while broadening their understanding of nature, heritage, and teamwork beyond classroom learning.”

Delhi Public School Ranchi continued its exciting and adventurous educational excursion trip to the picturesque hills of Nainital with great enthusiasm on Day 04 of the camp. The students actively participated in several thrilling and skill-based activities that provided them with unforgettable learning experiences amidst nature.
On 19th May 2026, the students began their day with great energy and excitement at Camp Nainital. After breakfast, the campers enthusiastically participated in adventure activities such as River Crossing and Commando Net under the guidance of trained instructors.
Later, the students embarked on an adventurous trek from the camp to the famous Woodpecker Point. The approximately 7-kilometre trek through scenic forest trails allowed the students to witness the mesmerizing beauty of nature while enhancing their endurance and team spirit. The trekking experience also encouraged the students to appreciate the natural environment and develop a sense of responsibility towards its conservation.
In the evening, the students took part in a unique Survival Cooking session as part of Skill Education. Under supervision, the campers collected wood from the forest and learned the traditional method of cooking food on wood fire. The activity provided practical exposure to survival skills, self-reliance, cooperation, and resource management, making it both educational and enjoyable for the students.
The day concluded with a lively bonfire and music session where students shared joyful moments with their friends and teachers. The vibrant atmosphere filled the camp with laughter, music, and excitement, creating cherished memories for everyone. Dinner was served at the camp followed by an overnight stay amidst the peaceful surroundings of nature.
Principal Dr. Jaya Chauhan appreciated the successful conduct of the excursion and said, “Adventure and experiential learning activities play a significant role in the holistic development of students. Such excursions help students build resilience, leadership qualities, practical life skills, and a deeper connection with nature while creating lifelong memories of learning and friendship.”

DPS Ranchi has organised an exciting student excursion trip to the beautiful hills of Nainital for 97 students of Classes VI to X and XII, accompanied by 11 dedicated teachers. The enthusiastic group departed from Ranchi Railway Station on 16th May 2026 aboard the prestigious Rajdhani Express for Delhi and is set to reach its destination today. From Delhi, the team proceeded towards Kathgodam, Uttarakhand 🚆🏔️
The excursion promises to be a perfect blend of learning, exploration, bonding, and fun-filled experiences amidst the scenic beauty of Nainital.
