It has been providing quality education to the people of Jharkhand and Bihar and specially the residents of Ranchi. The school provides education from class Prep to XII and Board Examinations are held as per CBSE norms. The First XII batch passed in the year 1993. The students of the school have brought glory to the school, achieving “Balshree Award”, “National Child Award” and “President Awards” in Art and Painting in 2010, 2011 and 2012 respectively. Moreover the school received many notable achievements at National and International Level in various Extra curricular and Sports & Games etc.

• The Principal of the school Dr. Ram Singh has been elected as the President of Sahodaya School Complex in which 45 schools of the town are members. This association has been made so that all the schools can work hand in hand foe helping the students grow into successful citizens of tomorrow.


• The school has also made a road map to collaborate with Government school so as to provide equal opportunities and exposure even to the students of Government school.

• The school has achieved remarkable result in AISSCE & CBSE-2016. 340 students secured 90% and above in AISSCE-2016 and 145 students secured 10 CGPA in CBSE-2016.

• The school was successful in giving the best result in the state. It is worth mentioning that DPS, Ranchi has bagged 97th All India CBSE Rank.

• More than 200 students qualified JEE-MAINS. Over 65 students qualified JEE-ADVANCED. Some students also qualified in AIIMS, BITSAT,etc.


• The school has joined hands with the British Council as well as the Australian Council to provide a broad platform to the students for nurturing them into Global Citizens. The school has contributed and donated for the poor and needy by giving books, clothes , eatables and blankets during the winter months in the streets and lanes of Ranchi.
