Pondicherry or Puducherry was the last French colony in India. It became a part of India in 1954 as a union territory. At the time of transfer to India, the citizens of Indian and French origin in Pondicherry were given the choice to take Indian or French citizenship. The White town of Pondicherry still has strong French influence with French names of streets and many of the Tamilian speaks fluent French.

Odisha is famous for its historical junctures and spectacular scenery. it is believed the sacred abode is dedicated to Lord Jagannath, a form of Lord Krishna. The lord is prayed here along with his siblings Balabhadra and Subhadra.It also acts as a massive historical tower created in the year 1078, millennia ago. The Jagannath Temple is made so that it casts no shadow here on earth at any time of day. The temple's 20-foot-high chakra is positioned such that the entire chakra can be seen from everywhere in the city. If you glance at the chakra from anywhere in the city, it appears to be facing you.
Puri Beach is a stretch of fine golden sand dotted with stalls selling sumptuous sea food and knick-knacks.

Sun Temple in Konark is a Hinduist temple located in Odisha, India. The temple is attributed to Sun God Surya. King Narasimha deva I of the Eastern Ganga dynasty built the temple in the 13th century. It is on the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites since 1984.Sun Temple is a marvel of mathematical precision and elaborate craftsmanship so much so that the whole temple aligns with the sun. The main entrance faces towards the east, in that way, the first rays of the rising sun pass through the main entrance and enlighten the inner sanctum.

Jantar Mantar is a testament of the architectural brilliance and astronomical innovations of the Rajput era. Built by the Rajput king Sawai Jai Singh II - the founder of Jaipur city, the monument was completed in 1734. Maharaja Jai Singh II was a great scholar and had keen interest in astronomy.

The five-storey building looks like a honeycomb of a beehive and it is always windy inside, owing to the numerous windows and jharokhas. This amazing ventilation that the palace enjoys is the reason why it was named as the Hawa Mahal, which literally translates into the “Palace of the Winds”.
