Central Institute of Plastics Engineering & Technology (CIPET) has established its new center by an MoU between Govt. of Chhattisgarh at Apparel Park, Industrial Area Bhanpuri,Near Urkura Railway Station, Raipur, Chhattisgarh in the land of 3.626 hectare with a special focus to provide employment oriented skill development training to the Unemployed/Underemployed youths of Chhattisgarh & to provide technical support service to plastics and allied industries.

BIS रायपुर द्वारा विश्व मानक दिवस 2024 (मानक महोत्सव) 14.10.2924 का आयोजन किया गया।श्री बृजमोहन अग्रवाल सांसद, रायपुर लोकसभा इस कार्यक्रम के मुख्य अतिथि थे ।Dr. Alok Sahu, Principal Director & Head सिपेट रायपुर भी इस कार्यक्रम में विशिष्ट अतिथि के रूप सम्मिलित हुए।इस आयोजन में Mr. Manoj Kumar Rajput , Sr Technical Officer ने सिपेट में भविष्य पर आधारित एक व्याख्यान दिया। सिपेट रायपुर के अधिकारी , कर्मचारी एवं छात्र छात्राएँ इस समारोह में शामिल हुए। सीपेट के छात्र छात्राओं द्वारा सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम की प्रस्तुति भी की गई जिसे सभी ने सराहा।
