The tribal Chief Minister of Odisha is an Odia tribal, and the President of our India is also an Odia tribal. However, the betrayal by the Government of Odisha is unbearable in many tribal villages that protect the hills, forests, water, and land, carrying the heritage of Sijimali, Kuturimali, and Majhingmali. Along with this, many tribal people have been trapped in jail indefinitely for opposing companies like Adani, Vedanta, and Maitri. Today, on its 4th day, the ‘Adivasi Sangharsh Yatra’ (Tribal Struggle March) continues under the leadership of the State Youth Congress with these demands. It remains to be seen when the tribal Chief Minister and the Odia tribal President will speak up on this matter, or if they will remain blind in their love for the companies. The Youth Congress is fighting this battle and will fight even more fiercely in the days to come.
