As part of Orientation 2026 for the MBA Batch of 2026 - 28 at SIMS, we hosted Tête-à-Tête, an engaging alumni interaction session centred on the theme “Hobbies & Passions: Making an Impact Your Way.”

The session featured Kirti Advani (Batch of 2010), Founder of Dancing Curve Institute, and Arantxa L. Sanchis (Batch of 2013), Associate Director at UBS, who shared how personal interests and passions can evolve into meaningful avenues for influence, growth, and impact. Through stories from their own journeys, they reflected on the importance of pursuing what inspires you, embracing unconventional paths, and creating value beyond traditional career boundaries.

Moderated by Nabha Belsare (Batch of 2021), Lead at Infosys, the discussion encouraged the incoming batch to view success through a broader lens - one that celebrates individuality, purpose, and the courage to follow one’s passions.

The session offered an inspiring perspective on how meaningful impact is often created not by following a defined path, but by shaping one of your own.
