The pavilion's structural system is built around a central bamboo column that anchors the roof and arching supports.
Traditional bamboo pegs and rope lashings secure the connections, while cross-cut detailing improves joint performance.
These handcrafted joinery techniques minimize the need for metal fasteners and preserve the natural character of bamboo.
