In a symbolic judgment the Hon’ble Supreme Court has clarified that in crimes of acid attacks the extent of injuries is immaterial to invoke Sec.326A & Sec.326B of IPC. Mere act or attempt of throwing acid is sufficient to attract these sections, irrespective of minor or no injuries to the victim.
