- **Sonki (Senecio grahamii):** A bright yellow flower that adds to the vibrant landscape.
- **Balsam (Impatiens spp.):** Pink and purple flowers that carpet the plateau.
- **Utricularia (Bladderworts):** Carnivorous plants with tiny, colorful flowers.

Kaas plateau is a plateau located near Satara. It is situated in high hill plateaus and grasslands turns into a 'valley of flowers' during monsoon season, particularly from September to early October. Kaas Plateau has more than 150 types of flowers, shrubs and grasses. The orchids bloom here for a period of 3–4 weeks during this season. Kaas plateau is a World Natural Heritage site. To control possible damage by tourists, the number of visitors to the plateau has been restricted to 3,000 per day In September, some of the most common flowering plants are Eriocaulon manoharanii, Pogostemon deccanensis, Senecio grahamii, Impatiens oppositifolia and Dipcadi montanum.

12.00 pm Start scenic trek and ascending towards “KAAS”.
12.30 pm Reach Kaas Plateau ‘THE FLOWER VALLEY OF MAHARASHTRA’. Capture beautiful pictures and have delicious local lunch. Relax for 2-3hours.
04.00 pm Visit Vajarai waterfall, one of the highest waterfall of India.
06.00 pm Start Return journey to Pune
09.00 pm (approx) reach Pune
