OnePlus Nord 6 5G launched in India back in April. It is the brand’s mass premium offering, and was launched at ₹ 38,999 for the base 8GB + 256GB variant. But now, all the variants of the phone have received a signficant price hike.

Nord 6 has received another price hike in India, marking the second increase in price for the smartphone within a week.

The revised pricing is already applicable from 27th May across all official platforms and stores.

First round of price hike
8GB RAM + 256GB storage: ₹ 38,999 to ₹ 41,999
12GB RAM + 256GB storage: ₹ 41,999 to ₹ 46,999

Second round of price hike
8GB RAM + 256GB storage: ₹ 42,999
12GB RAM + 256GB storage: ₹ 47,999

With the new pricing, the OnePlus Nord 6 is now competing with higher-tier devices, without any change in core functionality.
The higher pricing also changes the value-for-money positioning that initially helped the device stand out after launch.

OnePlus has not officially announced the reason behind the latest revision. However, rising memory and storage component costs across the smartphone industry are believed to be among the major factors behind these changes.
