Experienced Excel users know that adding checkboxes is often tedious.This complexity arises because it is necessary to provide several parameters during insertion using ‘Form Controls’ or ‘ActiveX Controls’ functionality. Additionally, when a checkbox is added, it is displayed as an object within the worksheet, which can further complicate its management and integration into existing data.

Now, Excel introduces new functionality for adding ‘Checkbox’ ☑️ in the worksheet. This functionality is available in the ‘Insert’ section of Ribbon under ‘Controls' sub-section.

To insert the Checkbox, follow the steps below:
1) Select the cell or range where you want to deploy checkbox ☑️
2) Select Insert ➡️ Checkbox

How this Checkbox works:

• Click on the Checkbox for Check and Uncheck action
Or
• Select cell or range where Checkbox are available then just press Spacebar on your keyboard
• Also, on each click underneath the cell will turn to TRUE for Check and FALSE for Uncheck.

To remove Checkbox, we need to simply select checkbox and press Delete on our keyboard.

Pay Attention - If any of the checkboxes were checked, Delete will uncheck them. Press Delete again to remove them entirely.

This Checkbox are important for managing Checklists, managing Tasks and Visualizing Data. Now just add Checkbox and click for making our worksheet more dynamic and user-friendly.
