Internship Opportunity: Field Intern (4 Positions)
Looking to build hands-on experience while contributing to regenerative agriculture and rural development?
AGRO RANGERS is looking for driven individuals to support our mission of empowering small farmers.
Duration: Minimum 6 months
Work Locations: Daund, Haveli, Rajgurunagar (Khed), and Ambegaon blocks of Pune district
Stipend: 8,000/ Per Month + incentives (upto 2,000)

Meet the farmer - Bashir Mulani.
Farming on rocky, poor-quality soil comes with immense challenges. Traditional crops often fail to thrive, making it difficult for farmers to sustain a steady livelihood. But Bashir Mulani from Kanhur Mesai chose to see opportunity where others saw limitations.
On his 7.5-acre farm, Bashir dedicated one acre to a diverse fruit based agroforestry. With support from AGRO RANGERS, he planted 500 drumstick saplings alongside a wide variety of fruit trees like mango, custard apple, sapota, orange, and tamarind. To make this rocky land productive, AGRO RANGERS also set up a custom drip irrigation system.
The strategy is already paying off.
While the fruit trees grow, Bashir is intercropping chickpea and fenugreek for steady, short-term cash flow. His first-year drumstick harvest has already started generating income, and with recent pruning, next year’s yield looks even brighter.
Bashir’s story is a powerful reminder that with the right technology, agroforestry practices, and determination, even the most challenging lands can be turned into thriving, climate-resilient Agroforestry.
