Application for Grant of IEC Number

The applicant's Registered/Head Office must fill out the 'AayaatNiryaat Form - ANF2A' and submit it to the nearest Regional Authority of Directorate General Foreign Trade. The DGFT Regional Offices with jurisdiction over the district in which the STPI unit's Registered/ Head Office is located shall issue or update the IECs in the case of STPI/ EHTP/ BTP units.

For each PAN number, only one IEC would be issued. Any owner can only have one IEC number, and if the proprietor has more than one, the IECs must be submitted to the Regional Office for cancellation.
