Thapar Polytechnic College is the top polytechnic college in Punjab. It is situated near Nabha Road, Patiala on the Thapar University campus. It offers diplomas in seven streams. It is affiliated to PSBTE&IT, Chandigarh. There is an entrance exam taken by PSBTE&IT, Chandigarh called JET (Joint Entrance Test).
