1.Just Share It! - Online Book Selling Via Auction:
Students generally share their old books by returning them to the book store.This leads to loss of money and time for traveling. Moreover the shopkeeper gets the profit.
We will be developing A website on which books/notes can be sold/exchanged via live online auction. with Implementation of various privacy and security measures.

2.Super-Resolution For Multi Frame Images:
This project is a research based project in which we are aiming to understand which algorithm is suitable for a particular image and give the user the ability to compare different Super Resolution restoring techniques that exist. The project aims at answering questions like which combination of reconstruction algorithm works best given image and what is its efficiency? And which multi-frame approach is suitable for different images which may include noisy images, images with high aliasing etc. Based on matlab.

3.Social Networking With E-Commerce:
Ecommerce along with social networking...is like integrating facebook & ebay.

5.Intelligence Knowledge Based System:

The project would be basically a website where various applications would run at the same web page easily and more interactively. If you are a new user you need to register yourself. In this project the authentication would be needed for login the website. Then after the login process a web page would be displayed where a chatbot would be seen with whom you could be able to chat. Now this chatbot would not be a normal chatbot it would be a chatbot who would use his intelligence not to just chat but also find any topic you would like to know about. If you want to find some kind of information rather than chatting you could tell the chatbot that you want to find this particular information so this chatbot would directly navigate to the information related to the topic and will provide you with most of the information related to the topic. Moreover if you want to find any place then a map would be displayed which will actually locate the place you want and provide the necessary information. One more implementation would be done where in the chatbot would chat with the text as well as his voice could be heared. Whatever chatting would be done would be saved and even the history related to the search. The interactivity would be more advanced as we will try to add different chatbots assigned different fields to whom the chatting would be done depending on the users interest. At the web page a list of friends with whom you could chat would be maintained. The most interesting feature of the web page would be the different types of chat. One chat would be a normal chat and the other the cryptic chat where the privacy would be maintained in the chat. The GUI would be very interactive and easy to use.Here the concept of Artificial Intelligence is used.

6.Security Agents For Network Traffic Analysis:

This project has the implementation of distributed agent architecture for intrusion detection system and response in networked computers. Unlike conventional intrusion detection systems (IDS), this security system attempts to emulate mechanisms of the natural immune system using Java-based mobile software agents. These security agents monitor multiple levels (packet, process, system, and user) of networked computers to determine correlation among the observed anomalous patterns, reporting such abnormal behavior to the network administrator and/or possibly taking some action to counter a suspected security violation.
This project describes a security agent architecture detecting coordinated and sophisticated attacks. The approach combines detection methods by both profiling user behavior and also correlating it to network statistical behavior. The idea is that an intruder can be differentiated from a normal user by his activity and its associated impact on the system resources. This agent-based intrusion detection system (IDS) attempts to emulate mechanisms of the natural immune system by detecting anomalies in a distributed manner.

7.VNC- based access to remote Computer from Android Smartphone:

Virtual Network Computing is a software product which enables viewing and controlling GUI desktops on remote machines on a network, either within a LAN or over a WAN/Internet connection. The machine that the user is sitting at is referred to as the client, and the remote machine being controlled is referred to as the server. Viewing entails sending screen updates from the server to the client; controlling sends mouse and keyboard from the client to the server.

We propose a virtual network computing (VNC) based architecture for accessing the desktops of remote computers from an Android phone. A viewer is provided on the phone that enables the user to see and manipulate the desktop of remote systems. The system to be accessed must be running a VNC server and it must be attached to a network. A proxy is used to send the image of the desktop to the phone, to convert different devices, to suppress network traffic, and to support recovery from an unscheduled disconnection. To reduce user effort and solve problems inherent to the cellular phone’s small screen, several functions are provided on the cellular viewer.

8.Online File Sharing sharing service:
Various types of files are shared on a regular basis by students such as resumes,notes,assignments,etc. Initially they used to share files using emails or using portable storage devices such as compact discs, pen drives etc.This is inconvenient because a centralized access to the files is no possible. Also it may lead to spreading of viruses and other malware.
This web portal will be designed for everyone having separate privileges at each level but the most beneficial to this project will be students as Sharing of Information will be mostly related to Educational field. Anything can be shared such as Documents, videos, pictures or music with your friends and Stay updated.
