YOU WERE BETTER BEFOREโ€™ ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ

I donโ€™t think Iโ€™ve posted a transformation photo yet where Iโ€™ve not had a comment that I was โ€˜betterโ€™ before. Iโ€™ve been told that Iโ€™m โ€˜too muscleyโ€™ now and โ€˜less feminineโ€™ since I started resistance training.

Of course in sharing photos online I know that Iโ€™m opening up my physique to criticism, and that itโ€™s human nature for people to compare and make a decision on what they like best - and thatโ€™s okay!

But it literally bloooooows my mind when the word โ€˜betterโ€™ is used for my before photos ๐Ÿคฏ because when I think of myself as that person, I feel so much more improved in every way now!

And hereโ€™s why โฌ‡๏ธ

Iโ€™m healthier, fitter, stronger, more dedicated, more ambitious, more consistent, more energetic, more confident, more balanced and above all else HAPPIER than I was before.

What you see in a photograph doesnโ€™t show the full story. Fitness isnโ€™t just an aesthetic journey. There are so many benefits to resistance training that you canโ€™t see!

So whether or not someone else thinks you looked better before you transformed, forget them! Do this for YOU and YOU only. Someone elseโ€™s opinion canโ€™t change the work youโ€™ve put in, and shouldnโ€™t change how you feel about yourself as a result!

Itโ€™s not easy to transform your body, but one of the most amazing things that comes with it is you can literally transform your life in doing so. And thatโ€™s what I define as โ€˜betterโ€™ in my books๐Ÿค

Donโ€™t fear gaining muscles or being less feminine just because thatโ€™s what someone else thinks about resistance training.

Yes I have muscles, but I STILL feel feminine ๐Ÿ’ซ We need to break the stigma that having muscles makes you masculine - it doesnโ€™t. It just makes you a strong AF woman!!!

Iโ€™m so proud of myself for having the dedication to transform into the girl I am now.

I did that. And you can do it for yourself too! ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ
