#TBThursday - Watching various car shows on tv, I always wanted to attend the Auto Expo in Delhi. This year, FEB 2020, I had the opportunity and the first pavilion that I got to was that of Great Wall Motor Here are their two SUVs #Haval F5 and the F7, the former is expected to compete with cars in the range of KIA Seltos and Hyundai Creta. The F7 is expected to compete with Tucson, Tiguan set of SUVs and is expected to come with 1.5L and / or 2.0 L petrol engines with 2 wheel or 4 wheel drive options. Just around 2 years ago, on my trip to North East, since we didn't use our buffer days, we had two days to explore a new place. Where should we go? Meghalaya it was. What a great drive it was, lovely twisty roads all across our trip. Using Shillong as our base (a bad idea actually, possibly use Cherrapunji, many options available there too, it helps save driving time) we drove to Dawki, a town in West Jaintia Hills district of Meghalaya. Through this area passes the Umngot river, and flows right into Bangladesh. We have a border outpost / crossing here too and if you are not careful, you may mistakenly enter Bangladesh (like we did, it's not a fenced border). The highlight though is the crystal clear Umngot river. You can enjoy a boat ride, dip your feet and enjoy sip a cup of tea, or even enjoy some chaats from across the border all courtesy of the boatman.
