Karthik’s mother visits us every couple of months, from Pondicherry with the family. She’ll mostly be pottering around the kitchen, trying out new things, and making suggestions and tweaks.

But when she has a free moment, she’ll pluck some bay leaves from the garden, and make a few of these delicate steamed rice cakes with jaggery filling ♥️

As within, so without. Sowing those seeds of right knowledge. Growing that forest. Reaching for the light and so so grateful to all of you that have been part of my journey. Wishing you all a HAPPY NEW YEAR 🎈

I knew I met my teacher in when I attended my first class at Aum Yoga Studio, in Anjuna, a few months ago.

For the first time, I was able to commit to my practice daily without feeling obligated or that sense of compulsion. Anyone who goes to Aum Yoga Studio will tell you the joy and lightness they come away with, when they return from a class.

Last week, we dived deeper into our practice, in a beautiful retreat designed by in a forest space in Maharashtra. There was yoga, there was breath work, there was cleansing, sound healing and a dip in the river - there was a shedding of inhibitions, a sense of community and being held.
