A positive opening day for Team MRF Tyres at the FIA ERC BAUHAUS Royal Rally of Scandinavia, with encouraging pace shown already from the Qualifying Stage and the first super special in Karlstad. 🔥
Frank-Tore Larsen and Lars-Håkon Lundgreen delivered the strongest result for the team on SS1, setting the fourth-fastest overall time aboard the Volkswagen Polo GTI R5. Simone Tempestini and Francesca Maior followed closely with the sixth-fastest time in their Škoda Fabia RS Rally2.
Mārtiņš Sesks and Renārs Francis, together with Eyvind Brynildsen and Anders Fredriksson, focused on building confidence and gathering information despite challenging early road conditions on the loose gravel sections.
Tomorrow the rally heads into a full day of action with seven special stages on the schedule, including the legendary Colin’s Crest jump. 💥
