As part of a three-day engagement in Bengaluru, Dr. Nidhi Pundhir, connected with partner organisations across key programme areas, reinforcing HCLFoundation’s commitment to collaborative, on-ground impact.
Dr. Pundhir started by visiting the Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation Centre (WRRC), where she interacted with the team to understand ongoing efforts in wildlife care and rehabilitation, along with their roadmap for the year ahead.
Continuing the engagements, she visited ARTPARK at IISc Bengaluru, a partner driving innovation in AI and robotics under HCLFoundation’s STEM initiatives. The visit included a walkthrough of ArtGarage, an incubation space supporting start-ups developing technology solutions across sectors such as healthcare, mobility, agriculture, and language. She then completed handover of Solar Lights and Hybrid Inverters to the DJ Halli community.
She concluded at the HCLTech Jigani campus where multiple initiatives highlighted a focus on inclusion and livelihoods. Assistive devices were distributed to children with special needs, certificates were awarded to trainees under the Automotive Skills Development Council (ASDC), and an electric vehicle was flagged off under the Nayi Udaan project to support driver training and sustainable livelihood opportunities.
The visit brought together partners, community members, and institutional stakeholders, reinforcing HCLFoundation’s commitment to enabling scalable, community-driven impact through strong collaborations.

We were pleased to host Mr. Ajit Kumar, Corporate Officer, HCLTech, at HCLFoundation project sites in Noida - Harit Upvan, Sorkha; the NCUI Centre of Excellence; and the My E-Haat Display Centre.
The visit offered a glimpse into how integrated efforts across environment, skilling, and livelihoods are driving change on the ground.
From the transformation of Harit Upvan - once a neglected dump yard transformed into a thriving urban mini forest to skilling initiatives at the NCUI Centre that are enabling youth, women, and artisan groups with market-relevant opportunities. My E-Haat Display Centre further highlighted how grassroots producers are being connected to wider markets, strengthening sustainable income pathways.
A meaningful engagement that reinforces the power of community-led action and partnerships in creating long-term impact.
