The Area Sales Manager (ASM)—OTC Products is responsible for achieving sales targets, expanding the customer base, and managing the sales team within a designated geographical area. The role focuses on over-the-counter (OTC) product lines, ensuring strong distribution, visibility, and brand performance in accordance with FMCG best practices

Remuneration :
₹30,000 to 35,000/month + per month business generation incentives and perks.

Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Revenue Generation:
Achieve and exceed sales targets for OTC products in the assigned territory.
Drive primary and secondary sales through distributors and retail channels.

Team Management:
Lead, motivate, and develop a team of sales officers/executives.
Monitor performance, provide training, and conduct regular reviews.

Distributor & Channel Management:
Appoint and manage distributors; please make sure stock availability and timely replenishment are maintained.
Monitor distributor performance and address issues to maintain smooth operations.

Market Development:
Identify new business opportunities and develop retail outlets.
Increase product pe*******on and visibility through in-store activities and merchandising.

Customer Relationship Management:
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including retailers, stockists, and distributors.
Address customer queries, complaints, and feedback effectively.

Reporting & Analysis:
Prepare and present weekly/monthly sales reports and market feedback.
Analyze market trends, competition, and consumer behavior to drive strategy.

Compliance:
Ensure adherence to company policies, pricing strategies, and promotional plans.

Key Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
Experience: 6–8 years in FMCG sales, with at least 2 years in OTC products or healthcare-related segments.
Location: Kanpur, Lucknow, Varanasi.

Skills:
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Analytical thinking and data-driven decision-making.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in MS Office; experience with CRM tools is a plus.

Other: Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area.
