Rohit’s mother wore a classic ivory saree, and his father, Sudhir, wore a traditional ivory Chikankari kurta pajama, each one unique to their personalities and representative of classic couture and contemporary fashion, amalgamated to perfection.

Rohit’s wedding was something we have looked forward to for years, a journey we had all been a part of imagining for many years.

At the heart of the wardrobe was Chikankari, a craft that holds deep emotional value for me personally. Rohit has grown up seeing all of us wearing Chikankari, witnessing its uniqueness and intricacies. He wanted to be involved in everything from motif selection to stitches, palette of colors, surface embellishment and finally, the finished garment.
