At baritone musicals, we endeavour to maintain the most ideal and sustainable environment for our students to pursue an education in music. To help cater to their individual artistic impulses, we provide an intellectual space worthy of their creativity.
Our institutes’ well structured and tailored courses and syllabi are a result of over 25 years experience in the field of music and over a decade of dedicated teaching expertise. The innovative teaching modules along with the well trained teachers deliver the perfect combination to cater to every student’s need. Since there can never be an age barrier for the study of music, our modules are also structured for measured teaching according to age group. Continuous research at the backend ensures us and the teachers individually, to evolve their personal styles and to have the syllabi and particularly teaching methodology up to date.
The Suzuki method or the mother tongue method that is incorporated into the teaching practice, ensures that the students aurally respond very quickly and thus are able to play the tones and rhythms, that they hear. Bringing an increased appreciation to music that is everlasting, we advocate collaboration and mutual encouragement for those of every ability and level, thereby discouraging competitive attitudes between players. However, this does not mean the elimination of auditions or evaluations of student performances.
The course is also designed to give the student, the aesthetics of ‘Music Appreciation’ by exposing them to many musical styles, composers and historical trends. ‘Appreciation’, in this context, means - understanding of the aesthetics, tradition, style, value and merit of different styles of music. It boosts concentration, self-discipline, listening, social and composing skills.
The in-house music store constantly provides our students with easy access to multiple musical instruments and related accessories at a concessional price, so as to make their exploration of the world of music, an easier journey.
