After biding farewell to our respected Pitras (forefathers) on pitrivisarjan amavasya, we r ready to welcome new energy in the form of worshipping Devi Maa.In Pitrpaksh which falls in krishnapakasha , we take blessings of our departed souls and dedicate our positive energies to them.so we r left with low energy. To recharge it for the whole coming year we worship shakti swaroopa devi maa in shuklapaksha. We celebrate Navratras by worshipping 9 roopas of maa Durga for in consecutive9 days.After that we celebrate Vijaydashmi.
