Aircraft Maintenance Engineering AME B1.3 (Mechanical)
AME B1.3 focuses on the mechanical systems of helicopters, including turbine engines, helicopter structures, transmission systems, and rotor systems. This category prepares students to work on civil and commercial helicopters used in offshore operations, emergency services, defense support, and VIP transport.
As per DGCA CAR-66, candidates must clear the required basic knowledge modules to qualify for the AME B1.3 licence,
