Empowering Women to Protect Children's Rights
A community sensitization programme was organized for women from the communities where NIPUN operates its Bal Vatika Centres in South West Delhi. The session aimed to strengthen awareness about children's rights, the importance of education, and the need to protect children from child labour and other forms of exploitation.
The programme was facilitated by Adv. Sushil Kumar, Resource Person, who discussed the adverse impact of child labour on a child's physical, emotional, and educational development. He also highlighted the legal provisions safeguarding children's rights and emphasized the vital role of parents and caregivers in ensuring that every child has access to education and opportunities for a better future.
The interactive session witnessed enthusiastic participation from community women, who shared their experiences and concerns regarding their children's education and well-being. The discussion helped reinforce the message that education is the most effective pathway to breaking the cycle of poverty and creating lasting change in communities.
Through its Bal Vatika and Bridge Course initiatives, NIPUN continues to work closely with vulnerable families, empowering parents and caregivers to become active partners in securing a safe, healthy, and educated future for every child.

NIPUN Marks World Day Against Child Labour 2026 with a Community-Led Mass Signature Campaign
On the occasion of World Day Against Child Labour 2026, NIPUN organized a Mass Signature Campaign to raise awareness and strengthen community action against child labour.
The campaign witnessed enthusiastic participation from members of underserved communities, who pledged their commitment to protecting children’s rights and ensuring that every child has access to education. The initiative focused on sensitizing communities about the harmful effects of child labour and reinforcing the importance of enrolling children below the age of 14 in schools.

Balvatika’s Young Minds Celebrate World Environment Day 2026
The children of NIPUN’s Balvatika Project, South-West District, Delhi celebrated World Environment Day 2026 with enthusiasm, creativity, and a shared commitment to protecting our planet.
Through leaf collage making, handprint art, poster creation, and environmental awareness activities, the young learners explored the importance of tree conservation, pollution control, waste reduction, and sustainable living. Their vibrant creations beautifully reflected both their imagination and their growing sense of environmental responsibility.
The celebration inspired the children to love and respect nature, adopt eco-friendly habits, and become ambassadors of positive change within their families and communities.

NIPUN–Shiksha Saheli Project Celebrates World Environment Day 2026
The children of the NIPUN–Shiksha Saheli Project celebrated World Environment Day 2026 with great enthusiasm, creativity, and a deep sense of responsibility towards nature. The day was filled with engaging activities that encouraged children to appreciate the environment and understand their role in protecting it.
As part of the celebration, the children participated in vibrant art and craft activities, expressing their love for nature through colorful creations. Using their imagination and artistic skills, they beautifully depicted the importance of a clean, green, and healthy planet. These hands-on activities provided an enjoyable platform for learning while fostering a stronger connection with the environment.
The programme also featured an interactive awareness session conducted by the dedicated NIPUN caregivers. Through simple and engaging discussions, the children learned about key environmental issues and the importance of conserving natural resources.
