Our design for involved building a medical centre with consultation rooms and laboratories for primary physicians and specialists. The design of the space - the nature of which is extremely specialized - was challenging on several scores. The biggest challenge was to seamlessly accommodate the motley functions while ensuring that the accommodating MEP trades did not clash and the design did not turn very clinical. The minimalist aesthetics and the overall planning of the space seek to facilitate an environment of healing and well-being.

Working on our next project, which is a workshop space for in Mumbai. Our biggest challenge here is the site context. Earlier used as a printing press, the site is situated under a bridge that is most possibly 10 decades old and demands a design that is sensitive on both aesthetic and functional fronts.
